The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) has announced the signing of a new sound broadcasting contract with City Broadcasting Limited, trading as Dublin’s Q102, for the provision of the following sound broadcasting service on the FM band:
• A music-based sound broadcasting service for a general audience aged 35-55 years in Dublin city and county.
Commenting on the signing, Chief Executive of the BAI, Michael O’Keeffe said: “Dublin’s Q102 has been on air for over 20 years and we are delighted to sign this new contract with them. Dublin’s Q102 will continue to deliver a quality music-based service, which will help to maintain the diversity of services and range of options available to radio listeners in Dublin.”
The new contract will begin on Christmas Day, 25th December 2020 and will run until May 2030.
