BAI calls for representations on its second Irish Language Scheme

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) is calling for representations in relation to the revision of its second Irish Language Scheme.

The BAI is seeking submissions from all interested parties in the context of a review of the scheme and the preparation of a new draft scheme in accordance with Section 15 of the Official Languages Act 2003. The primary objective of the Official Languages Act is to ensure better availability and a higher standard of public services through Irish.

Ideally, submissions should not exceed 4,000 words (ca 8 pages) and should be written and sent electronically to teanga@bai.ie by Thursday, 26th September 2019.
