The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) has today announced details of funding rounds for its Sound & Vision Scheme for the period 2017-19. The BAI will run seven funding rounds over the three-year period, with an indicative allocation of €5m per round.
The announcement seeks to provide certainty for the broadcasting sector in relation to the timing for funding rounds and should assist in planning over this period. The three-year approach has been informed by stakeholder views and by an internal operational review of the Scheme.
The revised dates are as follows:
